When to Take This Test
- Persistently high blood pressure
- Low potassium in the blood
- Suspected adrenal gland disorders
Preparation
- Check with your doctor about body position and timing (standing/lying down)
- Discuss stopping any medications that affect results 2 weeks in advance
- Don't overdo salt the day before
