When to Take This Test
- Suspected infection or inflammation
- Monitoring progress during treatment
- Assessing cardiovascular risk (high-sensitivity CRP)
Preparation
- Fasting is preferred
- Avoid intense exertion and alcohol the day before
- Rest for 30 minutes beforehand, no smoking
