When to Take This Test
- Thirst, frequent urination, weakness
- Preventive checkup
- Diabetes monitoring, as directed by an endocrinologist
Preparation
- In the morning on an empty stomach, 8–12 hours without food (water is fine)
- Avoid fatty food and alcohol the day before
