Description

When to Take This Test
- Preventive check after age 40, with excess weight or smoking
- High blood pressure, family history of heart disease
- Monitoring during a diet or treatment
Preparation
- Fasting, 9–12 hours without food
- Don't overdo fatty food or alcohol for 2–3 days beforehand
- Rest for 30 minutes beforehand, no smoking
